Data & AI transparency
Aviora listens to you speak. That deserves a plain-language explanation of what happens to your voice.
What Aviora collects
Aviora only stores what it needs to coach you. Every item below is tied to your account and visible to you.
- •Account details: email address, and the name, username, mobile number, country and photo you choose to add.
- •Practice content: your voice recordings (when storage is enabled), transcripts, and the challenge prompts you answered.
- •Coaching results: scores, filler-word counts, speaking pace, strengths, improvements and exercises generated for each session.
- •Coaching memory: a synthesized persona, recurring strengths and weaknesses, weekly goals and your 30-day roadmap.
- •Progress stats: XP, streaks, level, total sessions and speaking minutes.
- •Preferences: coaching style, difficulty, notification and appearance settings.
Why it is collected
Recordings and transcripts exist so your speech can be analyzed. Scores and memory exist so feedback can compare this week to last week rather than treating every session as your first. Preferences exist so the product behaves the way you asked it to.
Aviora does not sell your data, does not run advertising, and does not share your practice content with other users.
How recordings are processed
When you finish recording, the audio is uploaded to a private storage bucket that only your account can read. It is then sent for speech-to-text transcription. The resulting transcript, not the audio, is what the coaching model analyzes.
If you set recording storage to “Never store”, the audio is discarded immediately after transcription and only the transcript is kept.
Third-party AI providers
Aviora uses hosted AI models through the Lovable AI Gateway for speech-to-text and for generating coaching feedback, weekly summaries and improvement plans. Requests are sent server-side; the provider receives the transcript or prompt needed for that single request.
Your content is used to produce your results only. It is not used to train public models.
Data retention
Retention is under your control in Settings → AI personalization.
- •Voice recordings: deleted automatically after the period you choose (7, 30, 90 or 365 days), or never stored at all.
- •Transcripts, scores and coaching memory: kept while your account is active so progress tracking stays meaningful.
- •Account deletion: your profile, sessions, recordings and coaching memory are permanently removed.
Your controls
From Settings you can, at any time:
- •Download everything Aviora holds about you as a JSON file.
- •Export practice history or AI reports separately.
- •Delete all voice recordings, all transcripts, or your entire AI memory.
- •Turn AI memory off so the coach stops building a long-term profile.
- •Delete your account permanently.
